A Curious Disconnect

For most to the day today, the stellium Aquarius, Mercury, Venus, Neptune and the Moon, make no aspects to any other planet. While not Void of Course the effect is a curious disconnect from the people around you.

The fusion of planets in the sign of the unpredictable talks about what we are saying, our value systems, our feelings and our higher nature. Aquarius talks about community and the need for change, a running theme in our current political climate. This Uranian theme is also playing out in the phase of the moon we are experiencing. Just before the new moon, the balsamic phase is when you act consciously in response to outside people and events. Group goals replace personal ones.

We are so very aware today of transcendental and group needs we fail to pay attention to personal ones. Can we handle this transcendence? It can produce some curious results. In Ghandi’s pursuit of universal and spiritual truth he made a commitment to celebacy. But what did this mean for his wife? How does one make such commitments and keep commitments to the people in your life. Sometimes no matter how hard you try, you can’t. Uranus calls for personal freedom, because you can’t be who are if you are tied to people, places and things that deny your individuality.

The Pisces sun sits along side Uranus, giving the Uranian spin to the sign usually ruled by Neptune. Don’t think you are going to pin your Pisces honey to a wedding day any time soon! But more than that, we are called to examine our spiritual values in an individuallistic and relativistic manner. Dogma need not not apply.

Heady stuff. No wonder we find this energy difficult to process.

Gemini, Libra and Aquarius might want to watch what flys out of their mouth today. You might end up eating your own words.

Aries, Leo and Sagittarius take this energy and run with it. “I’ve just got to be me, but refrain from saying “take it or leave it because you might be left behind.

Cancer, Scopio and Pisces consider making plans to get away. Just be sure you want to leave the ones you’ve counted on before behind.

Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn are frustrated by today’s lack of focus. Just ride this out and things will return to norma in a few days.
