An Astrologer’s Conversation With Her Mythical Psychiatrist

Well, Ms. Astro, tell a bit about why you are here.

I think I need some antidepressants, just for the short term, say a couple years.

Why do you say that?

Well, I have Saturn square my Moon, natally, which I’ve learned to live with, but now my progessed moon is inconjunct Saturn. I’m under so much stress!

Psychiatirst bites pen.

I see. And how long how have you been feeling like this?

Well, the Saturn aquare the moon, all my life, of course. But Saturn just retrograded back just to inconjunct my progressed moon and after its ingress into Sagittarius it is going to come back over the progresssed moon. Oh and did I mention my Pluto is inconjucting my progressed moon as well? So it is really going to be a bumpy year.

(Scratching his head) Yes, I see. and what does all this mean to you?

Well, my progressed moon is in Aquarius in the tenth house of career. So I can expect some changes there, and boy, my day job has been laying off people right and left, so you can imagine that adding to the stress. With Jupiter sitting on my Venus right now, all I end up doing is taking on added responsibilities, without additional money. But when Jupiter comes to conjunct my progressed moon next year, I can expect to have totally different job, especially with that Pluto acting out on that progressed moon. You know that job changes are among the tops in life stressors!

(Psychiatrist shifting in chair uneasily) And you think you need medicine why?

Well, my natal moon is in Pisces and I have such a difficult time with my emotions anyway. I know intellectually that things are going to be difficult, but I can’t afford to be an emotional basket case about it! And then Mars is getting ready to cross over into my fourth house, conjunct my natal Uranus, so on top of work problems I’ll have problems at home too.

Hmmm, well it certainly seems like you need some help. I think a good anti-psychotic will help get you over these deliusions.
