Astrologer’s Mailbox: More Eclipse Questions
I don’t know about you, but this past eclipse seems to have me rushing around more, trying to do more. Many of you were very interested in the effect’s of last Friday’s solar eclipse. Here are some letters and my responses.
I am new to this newsletter and am enjoying it a lot. I wanted to know just how strongly this solar eclipse is going to effect me, as it fell on my birthday. My birthdate is: 8/1/60, Brooklyn, NY. I have been feeling very much at loose ends, and just all around strangely. I have not had any major shake-ups yet, but am wondering if anything is coming.

The eclipse will do that to you. In February, when the eclipse was in Aquarius, I felt the same way. Shortly, you will gain your footing again.
I’m not going to make a prediction on possible shake-ups. We all have enough to deal with in the moment. Write me again if something should happen. However, I will say that in the next sixth months you may be forced to confront a situation where it is evident that someone has not been honest with you. With your Moon in Scorpio, trust is always an issue. The ultimate lesson is to trust your own instincts.
Hi I hope the kind offer to answer an astrological question still stands? I was born on Aug 3rd 1939 in North shields (newcastle-on-tyne) Uk at 11.22am and would very much like to know how the eclipse will affect me please?
Victoria
With the eclipse point falling on your Sun which is in challenge aspect to your Saturn in Taurus in the house of relationships, you will look at once again the issue of how much you take on in relationships. You may have strong desire to cut and run because you feel you are giving too much. Only you can decide if your relationships/partnerships are worth it. I advise against entering into any new relationships until you’ve put the period on the old one. This is an element of deception surrounding any new love interests that should caution you to take your time before you get involved.
Hello I was born dec 16th 1985 rockville maryland.
I am trying to figure out how the eclipse will effect me. Thanks for putting this info out here.
Love, Nicholas
Funding for education seems elusive. My intuition tells me its because you are trying to get an education in a “safe” field, rather than what you love. This is the time of your life to quest for your purpose rather than fulfilling society’s goals. If your mother and father are having too much influence on are your career choices maybe you should rethink the financial connection you have with them. You love them, but they are very intellectual people, not understanding how for many people the heart drives their actions. If you are nearing the end of your undergraduate career, perhaps you can consider finishing up in the field you started with, but go to graduate school in what you want to do. Here, at your age, you should be able to file your FAFSA as an independent adult and qualify for forms of financial aid you didn’t have access to previously. Check with your school’s financial aid department for advice.
How has the eclipse affected you?
