Astrological Analysis: The Horrible Fate of 2nd Lieutenant Holley Wimunc
July 14, 2008

Charred remains found in an area in close proximity to the Camp LeJeune Marine base may the the body of missing Fort Bragg soldier Second Lieutenant Holley Wimunc. Lieutenant Wimunc was listed as missing and endangered after she failed to report to work July 10, 2008. A concerned co-worker went to her apartment and smelled smoke coming from it. It was later determined that the smoldering fire was set by means of an accelerant.
Lieutenant Wimunc had filed for a protective order siting a frightening incident on May 17 where her husband physically assaulted her and held a 9mm gun to her head, then threatened to kill himself. However, when she failed to show up at the hearing for the protective order, the order was dismissed.
Cpl. Wimunc’s parents have publicly stated that the domestic violence charges are false and that Holley and John’s pending divorce was amicable. Since the discovery of the body outside Fort LeJeune, Lana Wimunc, John’s mother, has been unable to reach him.
Holley’s estranged husband, Marine Cpl. John Wimunc was questioned on Thursday, July 10 and Friday, July 11 and denied having anything to do with his wife’s disappearance. He even reportedly allowed police to search his barracks without a search warrant.
If the body proves to that of Holley Wimunc, this would be the third murder of female military personnel in North Carolina in a little more than a half a year.
What can astrology tell us about the disappearance of Holley Wimunc?
Though Holley was reported missing the morning of July 10, 2008, a neighbor reported smelling smoke and a man running away from the apartment complex on the night of July 9, 2008. Strangely, and so unfathomably typical of the response in this military town, no one thought anything of the smell of smoke in the apartment complex to call for emergency assistance, even though twenty units had to be evacuated the next day! The fire, though set with an accelerant, was small and smoldered through the night and apparently burned itself out by the time rescue workers arrived in the morning. And again, not much was done in the investigation until 7:15 p.m. because the search warrants for the apartment didn’t arrive until then! Investigators didn’t release any information until July 12, because they were checking around with friends and family to see if she was with any of them despite the evidence that something particularly strange happened in that apartment.
We have Holley’s birth date, though not the time from the court papers filed for the Protective Order.
She was born December 12, 1983, internet sources giving her hometown as Lafayette, Louisana.
The commission of this crime is disorganized. The moon is in Libra, a sign noted for its lack of decision. Under this moon there was probably an ill advised attempt at “getting together” and maybe the need to “talk some sense” into Holley. Pluto, the planet associated with abduction, conjuncts her Neptune and an out of sign trine to her Venus in Scorpio. This was an attempted abduction gone wrong.
Transiting moon sits on her Mars in Libra, and Uranus sits on her Moon in Pisces. When the Moon, Mars and Uranus mixes it up, there is unexpected, sudden violence. The intent was not to kill, but to make an ill concieved point. Unforturnately, the point went too far.
With transiting Neptune in Aquarius sextiling her natal Neptune that is sitting only side with Pluto in the fire sign of Sagittarius, fire was used in an attempt to conceal the crime.
This is an ongoing investigation, and the people involved are not public figures so it is not appropriate to name suspects. We shall visit this topic again when arrests are made.
