Astrological Forecast for Eclipse Point August 1, 2008
We are experiencing a solar eclipse at 9 degrees of Leo on August 1. Eclipses are like magnifying glasses, concentrating energy on a single point in your chart that time releases over the next six months. For those people with personal planets in fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius) including the Sun, at or around that point you can expect issues involving that point to become prominent during the next six months.
Sun in Fixed Signs–Because this eclipse involves stress aspects from the Sun, Moon, and Mercury in Leo to Jupiter in Capricorn, your responsibilities and obligations overtake your need for self-expression, especially for Leos, but also for the other fixed signs. It is as if you are not seen, not heard and your feelings in the matter don’t seem to count. This is a time to go inward to grasp the heart of the matter while you work through your day-to-day activities. Perhaps this is the time when you decide that certain things just aren’t worth the stress of trying to work them through. Maybe you’ll consider a change of venue in this aspect of your life. Regardless, it won’t be until the first of next year when you can actually enact any changes, which can be frustrating when you are itching to act.
Moon in Fixed Signs—You might go around feeling like the world doesn’t care a thing about you. Your own stubbornness in demanding that your emotional needs be met trip you up every time. This is a time to reflect on what you need but also what you need to give back to others so that they feel good giving back to you.
Mercury in Fixed Signs—You are driven inward in your thinking processes because the world isn’t going to lay it out in terms you are going to understand. It is as if you landed in foreign country where you don’t understand the language and you don’t have an interpreter. Best advice, repeat back to the person who is speaking to you what you just heard and have them do so until you understand exactly what they are trying to say to you.
Venus in Fixed Signs—You are not sure where all the money is going, but it certainly isn’t in your pocket. Even keeping a money journal doesn’t tell the whole story. Think ahead and strip your expenses to the barest essentials. Carve out some savings for a rainy day. You’ll need it.
Mars in Fixed Signs—You might have the toughest time of all, since you feel like you are fighting for your survival when other people don’t quite see it that way. For your own good
monitor your responses when you feel threatened, and take it down a few notches. Please.
