Warren Jeffs, the former titular leader of the Fundamentalist Church of Latter Day Saints, in jail serving one sentence, and awaiting trial for other offenses, was indicted again for sexual assault, bigamy and related charges.
A journal entry purportedly from Jeffs attached to a report by a child advocate indicates he married his daughter to a 34-year-old man the day after she turned 15. . .
In addition to discussions of the girl’s marriage, the Jeffs journal entry also indicates he blessed marriages of two other underage sect members.
Among the hundreds of boxes of photos, documents and family Bibles, investigators found photos of Jeffs kissing and intimately embracing several apparently teenage girls.
This story was first posted at 10:15 AM, July 22, 2008, so the actual indictment apparently was the first order of business for the judge. At this time Mars is opposite a potent Moon/Uranus combination and both configurations are squaring is his Sun in the twelfth (from a rectified birth time). If you look to the previous day’s aspects, you can see the decision to indict was made between the Moon’s opposition to Saturn at 8:15 AM and the end of the court’s day, which we suppose is 5:00 PM when Moon is at 11 degrees of Pisces. It doesn’t help Jeffs that the day’s ascendant is sitting right on top of his Sun sitting so poignantly next his South Node, symbolically shedding the light on his hidden activities.
The transiting Mars is in harmonious (trine) aspect to transiting Jupiter, suggesting that Justice, once again, will mete punishment to a purported man of God who is a pedophile by any other name.
