Breakfast With the Gods
October 23, 2007

Our relationships are starkly highlighted today by a predominant T-Square between the moon in the sign of Pisces, Venus in the sign of Virgo, and Jupiter in the sign of Sagittarius.
Jupiter is “king of the gods” and in Sagittarius is itching to go and demands his way. He has people to see and places and go, and you better do as he says. It’s his way or the highway, so get out of the way. The thing with this kind of personality is that it is just about impossible to reign them in, and they get cranky when you try to do so.
Venus, the goddess of love and money, is in the logical, practical sign of Virgo. She is cautious and careful, trying to make sure all the bases are covered. Likewise, she gets cranky when she is pushed into doing things that go against this natural bent.
Imagine this scene at breakfast table with Mr. Sagittarius Jupiter and Ms. Venus Virgo. “Darling,” says Venus, “I can’t help but notice the new golf clubs you bought.”

“Oh, they’re great, honey. Take a look at the balance,” as he swings around the putter in the air. “These are really going to impress the boss when we go out on the links this weekend.”
She ducks. “Yes, but I was wondering if you paid the electric bill. We talked about it last week, remember, about how cranky the electric company was getting, sending us that shut-off notice and all.” Electric suddenly switches off. “Never mind, just where is the receipt to those golf clubs?”
“Why?” he says.
So our day goes today. The moon in Pisces would rather we just forget the whole thing, or smooth things over with sweet talk. Can we do this? This is today’s challenge. The good thing about all this is that Mercury is Retrograde, so anything done can be undone. Looks like those golf clubs are going back to the pro shop, after all.
