Astrological Analysis: Why is Everyone in Denial About Rielle Hunter?

Sunday, August 10th, 2008

August 10, 2008
Astro_Analysis2.jpg
Why does everyone, including Rielle Hunter, seem to be in denial about who she is? For a woman who for many years was a “seeker of truth” and even started a production company purported to be “committed to projects that reveal truth” anything but seems to be spun about her story.

Astrology Tells Us: Love Child, Is John Edwards the Daddy ?

Saturday, August 9th, 2008

August 9, 2008
John Edwards is suffering some perhaps well deserved vilification for recently confimining the story that the National Enquirer and blogs such as Death By 1000 Papercuts been pursuing for months, that he had an affair with novice filmmaker and former party girl Rielle Hunter.

He says of the affair:

“I got some acclaim as a lawyer. . . then I went from being a young senator to being considered for vice president, running for president … becoming a national public figure, all of which fed a self-focus, an egotism, a narcissism that leads you to believe you can do whatever you want, you’re invincible and there will be no consequences. And nothing could be further from the truth.”

Astrological Analysis:”Likeability”, Bush and Obama, Oh My!

Thursday, May 29th, 2008

May 29, 2008
Astro_Analysis2.jpgLike_Ike
One Obama supporter on the Official Obama website says:

About “likeability”, Obama outshines all of the other candidates when it comes to likeability.  As far as I am concerned that quality speaks volumes about a person when it comes to leadership.

And according to a Quinnipiac University poll:

In deciding on how to vote for President, a candidate’s “likeable personality” is “very important” or “somewhat important,” 77 percent of voters tell the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University poll.

The same was true in the 2000 Presidential Campaign:

For all the layers of difference between the Republican governor and Democratic foe Al Gore and their competing policy initiatives, Bush strategists at this week’s political coming-out party in Philadelphia believe the election could come down to personality, not policy.

“Bush comes across as someone who is straightforward and plainspoken, someone who is approachable and likable,” said Karl Rove, his chief political strategist.

As governor, Bush has exuded confidence in his ability to win people over, one by one, by sheer force of personality. He won over many Texas legislators by playing down his patrician roots, popping into their offices unannounced just to shoot the breeze

.

And when it comes to similarities, Obama shares them with our current president.

Why has Florida become such a contentious state in deciding Presidential Elections and primaries? The Presidential election of 2000 and the legal challenges to the decision not to allow seating the Florida delegates at the The Democratic National Committee demonstrate a disturbing trend of disruption in the democratic process. What can astrology tell us about this situation?

Talking of the contested Florida ballots in 2000 Jackie Slevin, C.A. NCGR writes in her article “The Presidential Election of 2000:
You Could See It Coming If You Knew Where To Look”

Horoscope Analysis: “Something Everyone Knows Is True”

Monday, April 14th, 2008

Astro_Analysis2.jpg
ObamaPicBarack Obama is catching some heat for some comments he made about white middle class Americans.

From the Huffington Post

“You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them,” Obama said . . . “And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”

Obama was hard pressed to spin these comments into a more positive light, captured at one political rally saying “There is a little political flare-up about some things I said that everyone knows is true.”

The usually eloquent presidential hopeful slipped up, and this time the media, as well as Hillary are talking. One television pundit, when asked if what Obama said was important, replied immediately. “Yes, it is,” he said. “For the first time we have a glimpse into the inner workings of Barack Obama’s mind.”

With Hillary Clinton charging Obama with being elitist, do her accusations ring true?

GOP.jpgDo the bosses of the Republican party run scared at the thought of Hillary Clinton as the Democractic nominee for President? Have they fueled Barack Obama’s fund raising campaign because they think he is an easier target to take down in the long run?

Why would some people suspect the Republican party of conspiracies involving the aquisiition of power? Let’s take a look at the chart of the Grand Old Party and see what astrology has to say.

Did McCain “Get Jiggy With It”?

Thursday, February 21st, 2008

February 21, 2008
Astro_Analysis2.jpg
McCain_4The scuttle butt running around the press and news feeds is the New York Time’s allegation of an inappropriate relationship between Senator and presidential hopeful, John McCain and a Washington lobbyist.

A female lobbyist had been turning up with him at fund-raisers, visiting his offices and accompanying him on a client’s corporate jet. Convinced the relationship had become romantic, some of his top advisers intervened to protect the candidate from himself — instructing staff members to block the woman’s access, privately warning her away and repeatedly confronting him, several people involved in the campaign said on the condition of anonymity.

McCain calls the the allegations a smear campaign and flatly denies any inappropriate involvement with the female lobbyist? What can astrology tell us about John McCain and his relationship with Viki Iseman?

Thursday, February 14th, 2008

Astro_Analysis2.jpgClintonObamacomb
Barack Obama’s sweep of the Potomac Primaries bumped up the junior Senator’s claims of being the presumptive Democratic front runner for the race to the White House. He has a slim margin of 100 delegate votes. But does Obama have a lock on this position?

The Part the Part of Fortune Played on Super Tuesday

Wednesday, February 6th, 2008

February 6, 2008
HillaryBarak Obama was said to have narrowed Hillary Clinton’s lead in the polls to single digits, but Super Tuesday results proved the political analysts wrong yet again. Though Obama had his share of victories, Clinton’s clinching of California’s ballots put her way over Obama in total votes from the public. With Obama touted as Mr. Personality, why did Clinton’s star outshine Obama’s ?
ObamaThe most most striking and easily identifiable factor in the charts of Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Obama is their Part of Fortune. Robert Hand writes this about the Part of Fortune:

The Part of Fortune is not so well placed if it is in a sign with malefics, especially if the malefics are debilitated. Squares, oppositions, and conjunctions with malefics are also not considered to be very good. As a modern astrologer I would have to say that such indications do not mean poverty or bad health so much as they mean that the native will have to work harder or has a narrower range of possible routes to success. But given those two considerations, the results can still be very positive.

Slug Fest at the Primaries: Republicans

Friday, February 1st, 2008

February 1, 2008
Astro_Analysis2.jpg
JohnMcCainThe Republican Primaries have turned as rancorous as the Democratic with the top two candidates going at each other hammer and tong. What ever charges and counter charges are leveled, the real issue is who will dominate who. What can astrology tell us about which candidate has it all over the other one?

We see in all the top presidential contenders a strong Plutonian influence. In Romney’s chart, he had Saturn sitting along side Pluto opposite the personal planet of Venus, which talks about the things we want. Mitt likes to be in charge, and desires the power to accomplish this. However, welding power does not come easy, as he tends to take on all the work in a project rather than delegating it. John McCain’s Pluto is in a harmonious aspect to his Venus. He attracts people to him due to the sense of power he radiates and people naturally want to do things for him.
Romney
Comparing the charts of the two candidates, McCain’s Pluto sits on top of Romney’s Saturn, compelling Romney to react to McCain by pushing back rather than going with the flow. MCCain’s Mars, sits on top of Romney’s Pluto, acts like a burr under the Mitt’s saddle. Romney, who works so hard to keep what he has probably gets annoyed that McCain seems to enjoy popularity and favors without working hard at it. After all, Romney has committed over 32 million dollars of his own money for this campaign, while McCain was able to get a bank loan to bankroll his campaign just by getting an life insurance policy.

Romney’s Moon in Scorpio, magnified in power by sitting next to the planet of expansion, Jupiter is in harmony with his Sun in Pisces. However, McCain’s Saturn is sitting on top of Romney’s Sun, squashing this potent source of personal power.

In communications, Romney’s Mercury, his planet of communication is in stress aspect to McCain’s Pluto. It is very easy for McCain to take Romney’s words and put a negative spin on them because Romney speaks in broad stroke terms, without nailing down the particulars which is a Piscean traits. While this tactic can work at certain times, it just doesn’t work when facing a dyed in the wool Virgo like McCain who nails down issues with precision.

In terms of who is likely to take the room and take the meeting, McCain’s chart is the one that dominates over Romney’s. However, each compliments the other’s chart nicely, bringing a balance of views that have broad based appeal. As stated before, this astrologer think it likely that Romney will be offered the running mate position. If this happens, these two will be a mighty tough team to beat.

John McCain: Presumptive Front Runner?

Thursday, January 24th, 2008

January 24, 2008
Astro_Analysis2.jpg
JohnMcCainAmerican news media make it seem like there is a hot and heavy race for the front runner position for the Republican presidential nominee as illustrated by this recent quote from MSNBC news:

There’s still no frontrunner in the GOP contest but there is a candidate in the “momentum slot.â€?

Mitt Romney kicked up some dust when he won the Nevada caucus, pumping up his bid for the nomination and keeping him ahead in votes for the nomination, but as predicted the tide of opinion is beginning to turn against him as shown in a recent MSNC article.

The truth is that one Republican candidate leads in one national wide poll and that person is John McCain. Can it be that McCain is really the presumptive front runner of the GOP race to the White House? Going further, is he the one that will capture the Republican nomination?

Mitt Romney: Turn Around Artist?

Thursday, January 17th, 2008

January 17, 2009
Astro_Analysis2.jpgRomney
From MSNBC:

Will Republicans ever find a front-runner? Mike Huckabee, John McCain and Mitt Romney have each found a niche, but none of them have expanded beyond it. Did Michigan offer any clues as to who might be able to transcend his natural constituency and give the GOP a consensus candidate?

Read Mitt Romney’s biography and you can’t help but to be impressed. He’s displayed an amazing ability as a turn around artist, taking failing businesses and political situations from disaster to success. For instance, his party tapped him to run for governor of Massachusetts when the then current governor was deemed too much of a political liability to secure a win. Since the 2004 GOP convention Mitt Romney has been considered a contender for the 2008 nomination.

Currently Romney leads the McCain three-to-one lead in delegates to the 2008 Republican National Convention, though that can change with the upcoming Super Tuesday primaries. Up to this point, Romney’s campaign strategies have kept him ahead in votes. But can Romney reach past his core constituency to garner the GOP nod?

Is Hillary “Presidential” Enough?

Thursday, January 3rd, 2008

January 3, 2008
Astro_Analysis2.jpg
HillaryDemocratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton is running neck and neck with Barack Obama in the polls for the Iowa Caucus. While not an election for a political office, the Caucus elects the representatives that go to the Iowa Convention that then elects the delegates for the National Convention. Since Iowa is the first caucus, it is considered a crucial point to win in the chess game of the National Election for president. With Hillary losing and Barack gaining ground, the question is asked “Does Hillary have the right stuff to be be president?”
