Benazir Bhutto’s controversial political career came to a tragic end at the hands of an assassin on December 27, 2007 at 6:16 p.m. as she was leaving a political rally. Bhutto was the last of her generation of a powerful political dynastry that’s been involved in Pakistani politics for nearly a hundred years.

Pakistani politics are bloody and corrupt. Her father was disposed as Prime Minister, then executed. Her two brothers, active in resistance movements, died untimely deaths under suspicious circumstances. She herself endured arrest and confinement before her rise to power: her husband, prison and torture, amid accusations of corruption and money laundering after the second time she was disposed. Despite these accusations, she is a much loved figure to many Pakistanis. Her death will surely be a rallying cry to depose the current leadership.

Michel Gauguelin undertook massive studies in the position of planets and their applications in the birth chart. One study was that of planetary heredity, which after over 25,000 charts were analyzed yielded that parents and children were more likely to share traits in the their charts than not. He did not find match ups in Sun/Sun, Moon/Moon combinations, but he did find that certain planets. Moon, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn were more likely to share zodiac signs than statistical probability would indicate.

One of the most famous parent/child partnerships is that of Billy Ray Cyrus and his daughter Miley Cyrus, star of the extremely popular Hannah Montana series. Both are immensely popular entertainers and their close relationship is shown in the stars.

Ike Turner is certainly one of the most dehumanized figures in rock history. Mention his name and the first association that comes to most anyone’s mind is “abusive husband,” not “soul star” or “rock & roll pioneer.” According to legend, Turner was a tyrannical ogre who used physical violence and psychological intimidation to control his infinitely more talented wife Tina, while indulging his own appetites for cocaine and women at every turn. That’s not entirely accurate, although by most accounts Turner did quite a bit to earn that reputation; he spent time in prison due to his drug problems, and his own refutations of Tina’s allegations of abuse have been inconsistent at best over the years.

Like the Scorpio he was, so much about Ike Turner is shrouded by his “bad boy” demeanor. Did he or didn’t he abuse Tina? He denied it, but then abusers usually do deny their behavior. Was he a heavy drug user? He did spend time in prison for his drug use. This rock ‘n roll Hall of Famer made good, then lost it from his own excesses. With his Sun, Mercury and Venus in Scorpio, like most denizens of this bent zodiac sign, he had a real talent for sabotaging himself.

Will Smith seems set on heading towards another blockbuster hit with his new movie I Am Legend so naturally many people are taking another look at the popular rapper/actor.

An internet search easily reveals his birthdate, September 25, 1968, but not his birth time, leaving us in doubt of his ascendant, a key piece of an individual’s astrological make-up. The ascendant is the face we present to the world, the way we interact socially and the first impression people have of us.

Astrologers have tools to parse out elusive information. The technique used is called “rectification”. Using clues from physical appearance to events in a client’s life, an astrologer can nail down a possible birth time. Rectification is a complex technique, starting with an analysis of body features to narrow down the list of possible ascendants. On Will’s birthdate, the range of ascendants start with Cancer and works it way back to the early degrees of Taurus.

Let’s consider the first four possible ascendants, Cancer, Leo, Virgo and Libra. In the chart below the approximate times for the sign on the ascendant is listed with each sign for Will Smith’s birthdate. And just for a comparison, below is a computer generated face representing an average male face.
Compared to the average face, Will’s face is long, the forehead is high, the eyes are small, the lips are rounded and the brows lower set in the face. Though he doesn’t appear to have dimples, this profile fits more closely than the other possible ascendants.

Will Smith’s personality seems to fit the Libra ascendant, though, of course he has a strong Libra influence in his chart through his Sun, Mercury and Venus. Libra is called the “relationship sign”, with a strong drive to have a partner in his life. Will himself tells the story of what drove him to show business:

. . . it all goes back to when he was 16. Smith says that it was his cheating first girlfriend motivated him to become a movie star.

“I was so devastated that she cheated on me and I remember making a decision that she cheated on me ‘cause I wasn’t good enough right? And I remember laying in my mother’s bed crying and making a decision that if I was the best at everything, that my woman could never cheat on me,�? he said.

Analyzing facial features is just a first step in the rectification process, but we can mark down “Libra” as a possible ascendant. What do you think?

The famous turned infamous football star faces yet again jail time. You would think once bitten, twice shy, and any man would do what he could to stay out of trouble. So what on earth was that man thinking when he went to that hotel room to take back items allegedly stolen from him? And what is the outlook for O. J. ? Is he going to jail this time?

Let’s look at the influences surrounding his acquittal of murdering his ex-wife and Ron Goldman for a clue as to what is going to happen. A the time of the trial, Neptune was conjuct Uranus in tension aspect to his Sun/Mercury combination. There was a lot of speculation and shocking allegations directed at O. J. and even to this day, the truth is not known about those murders.

Rumors of Angelina Jolie being pregnant for second time is circulating through the tabloid press, starting first with a tantalizing bit from the Italian press.

Though in September, Brad Pitt called this rumour “a joke”, Brad hasn’t exactly been forthcoming in telling the truth when it come his relationship with Angelina. We all remember that both denied they were an item during the filming of “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” and that he and Angelina were “just friends” when he broke up with Jennifer Anniston.

So, what are the prospects of Angelina being pregnant?

While filming in Cambodia in 2001, Angelina Jolie’s eyes were opened to the plight of refugees.

“It was very clear to me there was a lot about this world that I didn’t know. I felt really ashamed and ignorant. . . . It just changed my life.” -Angelina Jolie

Angelina’s response to her experience was to adopt Maddox out of Cambodia, and contact the United Nations, to ask what she could do to help. They in turned, harnessed her star power by naming her Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commission on Refugees. But she not only lent her name to the plight of the poorest of the poor, she’s invested a considerable amount of her time, making tours of UNHCR refugee operations in the Balkans, Sierra Leone, Namibia, Tanzania, Kenya, Cambodia, Thailand, and Pakistan and Ecuador. In addition she has contributed three million dollars to this cause. A quick tour of a recent Forbes survey of top ten celebrity philanthropists, she is outstanding in her generosity, donating nearly 10% of her net worth, while others donate a mere fraction of theirs.

What makes Angelina give so much of herself? Is it as Forbes says:

they benefit from a public-relations standpoint. The more good they do, the more the public loves them

Or does she have other, deeper motivations?

The court appointed parenting coach that supervises the visits between Britney and her children has filed a damning report that alleges that Britney “lives in her own world and ignores her sons.” The coach also reported that she couldn’t teach Britney anything because Britney totally ignored her.

Yet Britney was the first to show up at yesterday’s co-parenting class with Kevin Federline and according to a TMZ report was “looking forward to discuss parenting with her ex”, though she reportedly spent time in the bathroom before the session “bawling like a baby.”

So what is the story? Is Britney a disinterested or a distraught mom?

The buzz around is that Brad Pitt supposedly told British Cosmopolitan Magazine that he wouldn’t cheat. This story has made the rounds of various entertainment news outlets and of course, has quite a few people chuckling. After all, when your lover is pregnant before your divorce is final, for much of the world, that is evidence of cheating.

We all remember President Clinton’s denial of an affair with Monica Lewinsky. The subsequent salacious revelations of interesting uses for cigars only illustrated for most of us the compartmentalization that can take place when people deny their own actions. Let’s take a look at Brad’s psychological make-up that would prompt him to make such a statement.

Rachael Ray and her husband John M. Cusimano can’t seem to escape the rumors of impending divorce, despite public declarations that “they couldn’t be happier”.

“I knew [he] was the man to marry when I asked him what he would like for his birthday dinner,�? Rachael Ray writes in her cookbook Cooking ‘Round the Clock. “I offered up lobster, steak, fine foods of all nationalities, to which he replied: ‘Can I just have some of your carbonara?’ Whoa! I was right about him….

But was she? Rumors of an affair on his part have soured the public image of them as a happy couple.

Margera (born Brandon Cole Margera on September 28, 1979, West Chester, PA, name legally changed to “Bam”) is a professional skateboarder and television personality. He released a series of videos under the CKY banner and came to prominence after being drafted into MTV’s Jackass crew. He has since appeared in MTV’s Viva La Bam and Bam’s Unholy Union, both Jackass movies, and Haggard, which he co-wrote and directed.�?

In August he checked into rehab at the insistence of his wife, and checked out three days later. He apparently is abusing the prescription drug Adderall, an amphetamine used to treat ADD and hyperactivity as well as severe cases of depression. It is also apparent that he is in denial of the seriousness of his problem, even though one of the signs of drug and alcohol abuse is . . .your mate or partner complain that your substance abuse is damaging your relationship.

So what is in store for the professional skateboarder and Jackass star?

Pamela Anderson obviously likes bad boys that can’t act right in public. Tommy Lee and Kid Rock, both ex-husbands, had to act out in front of each other and her at the MTV Music Awards. According to witnesses, Tommy started pawing Pam Anderson, in some strange attempt to antagonize Kid Rock. When Kid Rock ignored Lee’s behavior, Tommy stood up in a way “that looked a little weird, like “Yo What?” Kid Rock then backhanded the drummer. Kid Rock presents a different story.

In an interview on WRIF on September 13, 2007, Kid Rock detailed Lee’s history of disrespectful behavior toward him and said he was incensed when, upon returning to his table at the VMAs, he found that Tommy had taken his seat.

So what is it between these two men and can they ever get along?

A bizarre wardrobe malfunction marked one of the pop singer’s recent concerts highlighting the difficulties sun sign Virgos are having in maintaining the image of the perfection to which they aspire. Detail oriented and driven to maintain the highest standards, Beyonce most likely was mortified when she realized the impact the one second revelation had on the performance.

With her sun in Virgo, her moon in Scorpio, and most everything else in a stellium sitting right along side the planet Pluto, this is a young woman tightly wrapped, compelled to control everything to perfection. The Universe treats such individuals as fair game and usually has surprises in store to upset their world view. The wardrobe malfunction was just a small taste of the year ahead for Beyonce.
