Could you please make a update on Britney Spears. She seems to on the road to recovery and finally getting along with her family. She is going to have a new album out this year so I wonder if she will be able to make a succesful comeback? And will she regain custody of her kids and find a new love and settle down?

The pop diva’s meltdown on the heels of her divorce from Kevin Federline and subsequent child custody proceedings may have been a blessing in disguise. Her increasingly bizarre behavior forced her father to intervene in his adult daughter’s life. Under his stewardship, Britney was diagnosed and received needed treatment for bipolar disorder. Those who have not had to deal with a bipolar family member do not know the heartache of watching a loved one suffer from the extreme mood swings, irrational rage and unfathomable behavior that its victims suffer.

Britney needs to dispose of what is a seemingly minor traffic accident turned into a small prosecutorial nightmare. In August 2007 she nicked a car in a parking lot and drove away. An insurance matter right? Wrong. The Californian authorities determined that Britney was driving without a proper California driver’s license and want to make an example of her. Last month, her lawyer rejected a plea bargain which would have put Britney on a year’s probation.

Britney’s trial for this case is tomorrow, but her lawyer asked for a continuance, citing that Britney’s father, not Britney, has control over her affairs, and therefore she can not aid in her own defense. It’s a stretch, of course, but if the judge does not allow the continuance, the case will go to appeal anyway, owing to Mercury in Retrograde motion right now, where you get a “do over” if you want it.

Britney shouldn’t wait too long to get this matter resolved. She has a busy year ahead of her. When traveling Saturn comes to hit on on her Mars next year, she could be getting married. With all this happening in the twelfth house there will be some secrecy to this event. Why do I say she is getting married, when traditional astrologers might say she is going to be hospitalized? Traveling Jupiter will be running through her fifth house of children, and yep, Britney may be having another child. With traveling Venus entering her eleventh house and representing her third marriage, she will think that this is a love match. We will see.
