Day of Destiny

Today’s moon in Aquarius is lit up like a christmas tree by a the configuration called the yod. A yod is two inconjuncts pointing to another planet, in today’s case the moon. The yod is called the “Finger of God”, raising a battle call to face your destiny. Where Aquarius is in your chart is the area where the yod is activated.

The points of today’s yod, along with the moon, is Saturn in Virgo and Mars in Cancer. This yod is flavored with whine, and of a less than recent vintage. Inconjuncts are stress aspects, the tension arising from an inability to make a decision about the situation. Mars in Cancer is content to ride along the waves of emotion, and Saturn in Virgo keeps its head buried in its work. Too long, it seems, we’ve been content to do the things the same old way and not taking real responsibility for the results. Remember, one definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Do we take responsibility for our own sanity? Are we ready to step outside our comfort zone and discover our own individuality? The window of opportunity is short. Open the door. It is your day of destiny.
