Father’s Day on The Gibbous Moon

For Father’s Day here are some thoughts on the gibbous moon. Note that the astrologer in this video uses the sidereal zodiac which is the cornerstone of Vedic astrology. Most Western astrologers practice astrology utilizing the tropical zodiac. For Western astrologers the moon is in Scorpio, while for Vedic astrologers, the moon is in Libra. Either way it is a day to reach out to our partners who are the fathers of our children and show them the appreciation they deserve.
As for our own fathers, perhaps this might be the day when we share a special memory that we’ve kept to ourselves. No matter how strained our relationships with our fathers may be, for most people there is one occasion, one memory, that highlights the unique relationship you share. And for those fathers who are no longer with us, light a candle and evoke his enduring spirit.
