International Astrology Day: Have You Hugged Your Astrologer Today?
March 20, 2009
Today flips the switch from the old astrological year to the new , the ingress point of zero degrees of Aries. To celebrate and to draw attention to ourselves, astrologers tout this day as International Astrology day.
As Wikipedia says: International Astrology Day is celebrated/observed depending on the exact day that the Equinox actually occurs (Spring equinox in the Northern hemisphere, Fall equinox in the Southern hemisphere). This varies year to year between March 19-22, though it usually falls on March 20 or March 21. In some years the day may fall on March 19 on the early end of the scale or even March 22 on the late end of the scale, though these dates are rare.
AFAN: The Association For Astrological Networking has a world wide events of lists here. There are events listed up through the end of March. Its worth a short trip over there to see if there is something nearby you to attend. But if you aren’t close to any of the events, not to worry, there are some online webinars you can attend:
