Forecast for January 17 to January 24

The title bout this week is Venus in Sagittarius versus Mars in Gemini. The weapon of choice is words slung about in chilling precision. Venus is keeping company with the Master of Deception, Pluto, who is whispering in her ear, screwing up her perceptions. Pluto is kicking up all kinds of insecurities. Venus making a harmonious connection with security conscious Jupiter in Capricorn wants a commitment while Mars in Gemini isn’t committing to anything. Venus is having none of that and the words fly! While Venus is thrashing about trying to pin down the “truth” of the situation, Mars reacts badly to Venus’ accusations.

Meanwhile, the Communications Kid, Mercury is keeping company with the Master of Illusion, Neptune and the Head the the Dragon, the North Node. The North Node talks about we can become. These three are making a harmonious connection with the fractious Mars in Gemini, saying, “Go ahead, do what you think is best.” Mars in the ever facile Gemini takes this advice at face value, saying to Venus, “I’m doing what I want, who care’s what you want, bye!” Mars in Gemini is a rolling stone, and is apt to make tracks rather than apologies.

Venus in harmonious connection to Jupiter wants to make security, not war. But her misplaced efforts to define Mar’s relationship with her only pushes him away. There is a whole lot of “me” rather than “we” in the equation, which, of course is the cause of the who problem. Best to put negotiations for a change up in your relationship on the back burner ’til better astrological weather prevails. If you don’t, it’s diva time!

Sagittarius, Virgo, Pisces and Gemini–you are locked into situations where someone is trying to beat the truth out of you, but the truth is everyone’s experience is subjective. Your truth is not the same as the greengrocers and his is not the same as the homeless man under the bridge. Try to see the situation for the other person’s point of view. Cut yourself and others some slack.

Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn–You get to work very hard, but it is pretty much being taken for granted. Are you feeling unappreciated? Understand that what you say about the matter is apt to be misunderstood, considered grousing rather a plea for attention. It may help to state what you want in very straightforward terms.

Taurus, Leo, Scorpio–Get ready for a bumpy ride. There is literally nothing in the stars right now to support your goals. Saturn makes you work hard, Mercury makes your communications sound like babbling to the outside world, and people want more of you faster. Take a mental health day. You’ll need it.

Aquarius–People are buying what you have to say, you silver tongued devil you. If you’ve got a favor to ask or a product to sell do it now. There is only a small window of opportunity so don’t waste it.
