Feeling Sexy? Feeling Energetic? Feeling angry? That’s Mars. The Red Planet represents our survival instincts and our sexual drive. Martian energy is the Ram butting heads with their rivals, rushing to the fight. It also shows us where we experience trouble in our chart, just for us to overcome it. Check out your chart to follow. To find the position of Mars in your chart, go here. A few quick questions, and you’ll have a handy list of the planets and the house cusps in their signs. Or you can go to Astrodienst to get a free copy of your chart.

Mars in Aries–Just what are you trying to prove, that you are stronger, more courageous and sexier than any other sign? Your prowess in these areas makes you a star. The deep dark secret is that you secretly think that you don’t measure up. You take crazy risks in every area of your life, ignoring the good advice of friends and family. Only when you get hurt do you wonder why you didn’t listen in the first place. The only body part you need to be bigger is your ears. Grow them.

Mars in Taurus–Because you are so sweet, you lure people into a false sense of security. You wouldn’t hurt anyone, would you? No one besides Scorpio has the patience to wait out an opponent. You win by sheer strength of will. When the time is right, you execute elaborate yet subtle plans of revenge. A word here, a nudge there. Then you act shocked when your rival takes a tumble. Scary.

Mars in Gemini-Whether you do battle or make love your weapon of choice is words. A master flirt, you have a trail of hotties wondering when you are going to pick one of them. Why pick one? You’ll get to all of them eventually. If you weren’t so charming you’d be busted for the scam artist you are.

Mars in Cancer–Your weapon is sensitivity. Who could possibly say mean word to you, with your sensitive eyes and shy smile. Cautious in love, you’re coy and rarely make the first move Get your dander up, and you put up that legendary Crab crabbiness as a defense. Prickly.

Mars in Leo–You have no problem attracting admirers. People want to be next to you because it makes them feel important. You ooze heady aphrodisiacs, money and power. No wonder you don’t sleep alone, though sometimes you should.

Mars In Libra–You smile sweetly in the face of opposition; sashaying down the hall shaking your head at your opponent’s foolishness. Don’t they know you’ve already gotten the boss’s approval? Why you wouldn’t make a move without consulting your boss. When you coo in your beloved ear they have no clue they are in danger of losing their hearts. Lucky for them, you find it difficult to make a decision about the final coup d’etat.

Mars in Virgo–What a sweetie you are fussing over everyone. Are you comfortable, dear? Is there anything I can get you? No one can resist your flair for detente, your dazzling domestic diplomacy. While your reel in your friends, foes and lovers alike with your care and concern no one realizes that you have scored a total victory in putting them all under your spell. You are very dangerous indeed.

Mars in Scorpio-you ooze sexiness, which you use to your advantage. You exude mystery, which you use as well. Everyone wants to find out what you are about and you love to watch them twist in the wind as they try. If you ever lose your heart it is forever and always. Darn if you’d ever tell your beloved that.

Mars in Sagittarius-You’re always honest. You tell them you don’t want a commitment. Why then don’t they believe you? Is it because you’re so generous? So enthusiastic? So funny? When you make people feel so good, don’t be surprised that they beg for more.

Mars in Capricorn–You hardly draw the first glance, you are so conservative. The smart ones know that behind that taciturn exterior, is a gem waiting to be polished. Though you spend your younger years climbing the career ladder, when you feel you’ve earned it, your ready to settle down with the “right one.â€? Too bad for the person who falls for you before you are.

Mars in Aquarius–You have odd ways of showing someone your interested in them. If there was an ink well in front of you, you’d dip her curls in it. You think you’re clever, others think you are annoying. You think friends are lovers and lovers are friends, which causes you some trouble sometimes. You are very calm until someone pushes you too far, then you are impossible to calm. People should give you a wide berth until you do.

Mars in Pisces–You never take anyone on directly because you don’t want to upset them. What you don’t realize it that you upset them by swimming away when things are about to get sticky. You’ve said and done all the things that make the other person think you are serious, only to find you doing an “exit stage leftâ€? just when they expect you to say “I doâ€? Practice constancy.

For the upcoming week:
Are you feeling just a little martyred? Feeling like the world is expecting too much and not caring about how you feel? Join the club! The Grand Cross in mutable signs makes us all feel like Virgos this week.

What happens with the Grand Cross is that four planets make difficult energetic connections to each other. Think of it as an electrified fence formed into a square. The energy runs around the fence and if something runs into it, ZAP! The four planets Mars, the planet of action, the sun which is in the sign of Virgo, big boy Jupiter and bad boy Uranus. While the Sun in Virgo likes rules and order, the other guys she is running around with don’t. Mars and Uranus like to mix it up and Jupiter just eggs them on. Poor Virgo sun is just sitting there, “suffering the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune feeling very misunderstood. Are you having the experience of not being heard? Of your opinions downplayed as less than important? This is the experience of the earth signs right now, as Taurus, Capricorn and Virgo get the run around.

Gemini, Aquarius and Libra could find a welcome break at a health spa, a day spa or a spiritual retreat this weekend. Anything to feed your head or just coif it is bound to make you feel better.

Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces feel out of sorts in the most of the week as no one is paying attention to their emotional needs, then as the moon slides into mysterious Scorpio, you are showered with big love from all sources. Then you ask, why?

Aries, Leo and Sagittarius can find the opportunity for love at the end of week. Is is fate, is it kismet, it is a one night stand? The fire signs hardly want to believe that their moment’s passion isn’t worth a life time of celebration or worth going to to the altar. You just might find you’ve bitten off more than you can chew, so instead of eschewing caution, pursue it.
