Monthly forcast for Taurus

by Sonija

You’ve been on a strong career track lately, and on the full moon, April 2, you’ll wrap up an impressive project that will bring you high-profile attention. You’ll be justifiably proud, and afterwards, you’ll have much more time to socialize than you have in past weeks.

Mars’ entry into your people / places / events sector on April 6 to May 16 will ensure that you’ll have more time to see friends and unwind, sure to feel luxurious after such a long hard-working phase. You may also make the acquaintance of a new friend too and when you do, this person will have a positive influence on your life, opening new doors and getting you excited about new interests and possibilities.

You may also decide to lend your hand to a charity or humanitarian effort that sparks something in you, and if you choose to give a little time to this group, you’ll find your time well spent, and the appreciation you engender from members quite remarkable.

With several important planets in your twelfth house, you’ll feel a strong corresponding need for a little quality time for yourself this month. Having had a plethora of clients, coworkers, friends, and family leaning heavily on you for weeks, enjoying a stretch of unstructured time to spend as you please will seem like you just won the cosmic sweepstakes. Book a massage, visit a museum, browse for new spring clothes, or take in a movie or two. The quiet time you take for yourself now will pay dividends later when you emerge more rested and are able to set priorities more easily.

Venus will be in Taurus from April 1 - 11, a time when you’ll be best at mesmerizing others to your charms. Buy new clothes and make changes to your appearance at this time, for you’ll like the compliments you collect.

With swimsuit season approaching, you may now regret those late afternoon selections you made from cafeteria vending machines. Find a friend to exercise with and be consistent. Plan to start your new program at the new moon, April 17.

Making a substantial change to your lifestyle is often hard for a Taurus, but keep in mind that once you do, you’ll likely stay the course. Your sign’s proclivity for consistency is your forte and now will help you win the day. As new habits replace old ones you’ll find progress accelerates. Stick with it - you’ll see results sooner than you thought possible.

After the new moon April 17, your living situation could bring exciting news. Certain aspects suggest that within days of this date, you may discover that you’re able to afford to lease a more spacious apartment, or to finally buy property you’ve had your eye on and feared someone else would snap up. If shopping for a mortgage, you may be pleasantly surprised by one with highly attractive terms. You’ve had this desire to increase your long-range security for some time, but now it seems within reach.

While you’ll be able to attract money all month, your talent for this will be VERY obvious on your golden financial day, April 9. If ever there were a perfect day for a meeting with a VIP, this would be it. The money seems to come from an investor angel or banker, or as a settlement agreement but it could come in many other ways, too. Just know you’ll have a major edge when Jupiter sends vibrations to the Sun and that it would be hard to find a day better than this!

You might want to spend some of your cash on a trip, but you may initially have problems finding the right combination of hotel and airfare. Once Saturn moves to stronger orbit on and after April 19, your getaway plans will fall into place. Keep searching for the right solution. Saturn will stay in strong orbit until December 19, so you have time.

Keep in mind that Saturn’s new orbit will not only improve your chances for travel but will also help you in the love department, particularly if you’re single and hoping to find the right one for you. Saturn is currently touring your fifth house of new love, so that’s why you have every reason to be optimistic. Saturn went retrograde in December 2006, so you’ve had to be patient. As they say, good things come to those who wait.

Romantically, last month probably brought a few intriguing romantic suitors to your path, but chance are, you were too busy to notice! This month, one shy person who has been smitten by you may take another small step forward. Have a cup of coffee together. With Venus in Taurus from April 1 - 11, you’ll be the zodiac’s darling. It’s a grand month to be out and about, so be open to new people.

Romantic evenings to enjoy love: April 8 - 9, 14, 17 - 19, 21 - 22, 26 - 27

Summary

The new season has you thinking about the state of your health and the look of your shape in your new clothes. The thought has crossed your mind that you might not have chosen the healthiest foods to nibble on lately. If so, this month you will be able to rally a pal to buddy up with you so the two of you can get fit and healthy for the warmer weather. Start at the new moon, April 17.

At first, the whole idea of turning over a new leaf may seem, on second thought, like a ridiculous, impossible idea because you realize you’ll have to break old habits. Change is often hard for Taurus - but only initially. Those who know you will be quick to point out that consistency is your forte. As you form new habits, you’ll find each week easier, and when your clothes start looking so flattering on you, all your efforts will have been worthwhile. Your pals will want to know your secret - but of course, you’ll know there isn’t any special secret. The practical realist in you knows it simply comes down to eating what Nature intended and staying active.

Also at the start of the month, you’ll be finishing up a major project (as full moons in the sixth house are prone to do). At that time, you will begin to realize that you talk about normal life (perhaps as part of your job!) but you haven’t had one lately. Perhaps you write about life for a living, or sell products for people to use, but you probably feel like you’re watching life happen from behind a plate glass window.

In other words, you’ve been describing the chocolate pudding, but have not had any time or opportunity to actually sample chocolate pudding. No wonder you feel a need to jump off the treadmill! You have been on it too long.

In actuality, you live the same crazy quilt life that the rest of us do.
Nobody, it seems, has a “normal life” anymore, so don’t feel singled out, dear Taurus. What you need is a little romance, a bit of music, some fine food, and a complete rest from the daily ringing phones, persistent emails, and pressing deadlines. Travel beckons, so whip out your map, spin your compass, and put your dart on a city.

You seem to also have a way of attracting money this month, especially near April 9. Put a gold star on that day, for sure! Jupiter and the Sun will collaborate, so believe me, there’s almost no aspect better than that!

If you want to spend some of your newfound money on a trip, you may, at first, have problems locating the right bargain package. If so, blame Saturn in retrograde. However, Saturn will move forward on April 19, just as you’re getting closer to your birthday. International travel plans should begin to shape up April 19.

If you have been hoping to improve your domestic situation, but have been frustrated by your lack of progress, you may be happy to see how well things begin to shape up later in the month.

Also, if need be, apply for a mortgage and make a bid on a house: April 17 - 27.

Your plans will suddenly snap into place in the weeks and months ahead. Hopefully this month you will be able to take a vacation. If not, Saturn is due to stay in strong, sturdy shape until December 19, so you will still have time to plan something truly special in the meantime.

Romantically, last month probably brought a few intriguing developments, even if they were too subtle to notice. This month, you may begin to notice someone who may have showed up back then. Hang out together to see how you click. With Venus in Taurus from April 1 - 11, you’ll be the zodiac’s darling, able to do no wrong. Be out and about then, for sure.
