New Financial Strategy for the New Year
December 31, 2007

I guess my question has to do with finances. I used to have a small business: after 911 I folded. However, I would like to start up, at least, my Intuitive Tarot Readings, to may be generate money to open up store front again or good dates for lottery. I don’t know whatever you feel is best to advise me on a financial front will be good. Thank you so much. September 26, 1953; 9:59 p.m.
With the sign of Cancer sitting at the doorway of your second house of finances, you have a natural inclination to want to hold onto what you have. However, with unpredictable Uranus actually living in the second house, money comes and goes suddenly.
While it certainly wouldn’t hurt for you to start up your readings again, I don’t see where you’d be able to put by enough to start up a store front for quite some time. Most likely, the best place to work is from home, or working psychic fairs in your area.
You have a group of planets, Sun, Mercury, Neptune and Saturn in Libra in your fifth house of creative endeavors, a great placement for artists, but for someone with many challenging aspects to these placements, a difficult one when it comes to finances. The fifth house represents the stock market, risk ventures and gambling, so it it likely you tend to act against your own best interests by playing fast and loose with your money in risky financial schemes or simply by putting too much time and money into slot machines. You know you shouldn’t, your Moon in Taurus tells you not too, but you do anyway.
With the planet of work and responsibility leading the pack of this stellium, your life lesson is exercising self control in financial matters. With Jupiter in Capricorn in the sky right now challenging your Sun, and Saturn in Virgo sitting on your natal mars, restricting action, this lesson is being driven home now.
So what to do? Forget the lottery. The prospects aren’t looking good for that avenue. You need to take some practical action, something which will soothe that Taurus moon of yours. You need to curb your spending, slice off those activities that drain your resources and cut up those credit cards. You may need to take out a loan to clear up pressing debts, something you don’t want to do. However, unless you have money coming in from a legal settlement, divorce or estate, this is really the only option. Consult a financial counselor to get some advice on your best options to retire your debt and prepare for your retirement. You are at a point in your life where you realize that your earning capacity is not infinite and you need to have provisions for latter in life.
The next couple years are a crucial test of your ability to make sound choices and stick with them. If you lighten your debt and practice self control, you’ll come out just fine.
