O. J. Facing Jail Time Again

O_J_Simpson.jpgThe famous turned infamous football star faces yet again jail time. You would think once bitten, twice shy, and any man would do what he could to stay out of trouble. So what on earth was that man thinking when he went to that hotel room to take back items allegedly stolen from him? And what is the outlook for O. J. ? Is he going to jail this time?

Let’s look at the influences surrounding his acquittal of murdering his ex-wife and Ron Goldman for a clue as to what is going to happen. A the time of the trial, Neptune was conjuct Uranus in tension aspect to his Sun/Mercury combination. There was a lot of speculation and shocking allegations directed at O. J. and even to this day, the truth is not known about those murders.

With his Sun and Mercury in Cancer he would be closed mouthed and protective of his interests and those closest to him. Uranus seems to get him in trouble, partly because with his Mars in Gemini, he reacts impulsively to situations, but it seems once that Uranus moves off the personal planet involved he is out of trouble again. As Uranus, Neptune combination moved off, the charges couldn’t stick. The prosecution couldn’t prove their case. Saturn in Pisces at the time of the acquittal came to sit on his moon in the eighth, and trined his Cancer stellium of planets and his Jupiter in Scorpio. He was well represented by his legal team and they protected him well. The moon was in Aquarius, representing Vox Populi, the voice of the people, opposing O. J.’s Saturn and Pluto in Leo, representing people in power. With public opinion set against the prosecution, the unexpected decision was made, and O. J. walked away a free man. However, Simpson suffered a backlash when a civil suit brought by the Goldman family divested O. J. of a major portion of his wealth.

With his Sun, Mercury and Venus in Cancer, you can not expect him to let go of anything. With Leo on the ascendant, he has the drive to take charge and get things done with a singular drive. With his Mars in Gemini, he is prone to impulsive actions. With his Mercury retrograde at the time of his birth, his thinking processes are not always logical. It just wouldn’t occur to him that he was doing anything wrong by “taking back” possessions “stolen” from him. Unfortunately for O. J. there is no self remedy in the law for doing this. Court intervention would be needed. However, after his extensive experience with civil proceedings, he just wasn’t going to trust the legal system to help him.

What is the court going to find? At the time of his arraignment transiting Saturn in Virgo is supportive of his Sun, Moon, Jupiter trine and will continue to be through his trial. As we’ve seen Saturn got him out of trouble before, and it will do it again. Sorry, O. J. haters, whatever happens it will be no worse than a slap on the wrist. No serious jail time is in the offing for O.J for this round of “O. J. Against the Law”.
