Pisces: Living the Dream

PiscesTattooNo one graces the world just like you Pisces, with your gentle compassion and concern with all living things, when you show up this is. Ruled by Neptune, Pisces is the last of the ephemeral water signs. The concrete world is so multi dimensional that you have difficulty figuring out which dimension you should live in. Maybe this is why you end up in tears many times, for reasons unfathomable to you as to everyone else. In fact, you are the people that cry at weddings, giving perhaps the most insightful testimonial to the solemnness of this happy occasion. But you don’t stop at weddings, no, you cry during heart rending movies. like the “Titanic to which you are drawn like a moth to a flame. “Isn’t that romantic, you sniff in the kleenex your friends have learned to pocket before leaving any where with you. You see, they noticed that while you’ll cry at the drop of hat, you often fail to bring along tissue, leaving you to wipe your teary face on their shirt sleeve, which wouldn’t be so bad except for that thick black eyeliner you insist on wearing.

Romance is the reason for living for most Pisces, as the world is much to harsh a place without the hope of amour to brighten it up. In fact, Pisces, you often fall in love with love, over romanticizing the object of your affections. The beginning of a relationship is always great for your partner, because there is literally nothing that you won’t do for them. But like a Venus flytrap, all that sticky goodness only serves to make your paramour the grateful slave of your passions, even if that does mean lending a shirt sleeve at the movies. Before long, they are caught in the web of your fluctuating emotions leaving them to wonder if there is any sanity left on earth. Now lest you think I’m over exaggerating here, I know of one Aquarian woman who was wooed furiously and persistently, by a Pisces man,. After she insisted she come live with him, then refused to marry her because he had a dream that she was murdered by home invaders in their house. He obviously wasn’t ready to marry, he told her. Then a few months after she moved out, he was married to someone else. Then he took up cross dressing flirting with men in bars. Whew! Bullet dodged there!

Not that all Pisces are crazy, far from it. But you do tend to live on the edge because so many of your friends tend to use you for free psychotherapy sessions. A natural listener, Pisces, you will listen to any sordid tale they have to tell you without reproof, without judgment or look of shock. This leads people think they are understood. Not necessity so, but Pisces does understand instinctively that the world is not black or white, but many, many shades of gray. Pisces understands that none of us are either sinners or saints but a patchwork version of both. So if Pisces choose to wrap themselves in a cushion of dreams who are we to judge? Its why we say Pisces is “living the dream”.
