The Republican Primaries have turned as rancorous as the Democratic with the top two candidates going at each other hammer and tong. What ever charges and counter charges are leveled, the real issue is who will dominate who. What can astrology tell us about which candidate has it all over the other one?

We see in all the top presidential contenders a strong Plutonian influence. In Romney’s chart, he had Saturn sitting along side Pluto opposite the personal planet of Venus, which talks about the things we want. Mitt likes to be in charge, and desires the power to accomplish this. However, welding power does not come easy, as he tends to take on all the work in a project rather than delegating it. John McCain’s Pluto is in a harmonious aspect to his Venus. He attracts people to him due to the sense of power he radiates and people naturally want to do things for him.

Comparing the charts of the two candidates, McCain’s Pluto sits on top of Romney’s Saturn, compelling Romney to react to McCain by pushing back rather than going with the flow. Romney, who works so hard to keep what he has probably gets annoyed that McCain seems to enjoy popularity and favors without working hard at it.
