On Monday July 27, 2009 the ex-wife of Joey Buttafuoco, Mary Jo, went on Good Morning America and called him a sociopath. The ex-lover of the so called “Long Island Lolita” wasted no time in putting his response on the record:

In a statement, Joey Buttafuoco told ABC he would prefer to be diagnosed as a sociopath by a doctor, rather than his ex-wife. He said he felt “victimized” by her characterization.

He also said he was nothing but the best for Mary Jo.

Of course, Mr. Buttafuoco has said a lot of things. He insisted during Amy’s prosecution that he never had sex with Amy Fisher. When he copped a plea on felony sex charges he had to lie to the judge about the incident to get less jail time. His wife, Mary Jo backed her husband, believing his story.

Phil Donohue show. The audience wasn’t buying Joey’s story, though Mary Jo backed him adamantly. One audience member remarked, “If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, its a duck.”

Again the choice is to use the transformative elements of the master of underworld to change how you choose to use your aggressive instincts.

lack of moral sense
chronically antisocial behavior
no change in behavior after punishment
emotional immaturity
lack of guilt
self-centeredness

People with this disorder may exhibit criminal behavior. They may not work. If they do work, they are frequently absent or may quit suddenly. They do not consider other people’s wishes, welfare or rights. They can be manipulative and may lie to gain personal pleasure or profit. They may default on loans, fail to provide child support, or fail to care for their dependents adequately. High risk sexual behavior and substance abuse are common. Impulsiveness, failure to plan ahead, aggressiveness, irritability, irresponsibility,and a reckless disregard for their own safety and the safety of others are traits of the antisocial personality.

With Mr. Buttafuoco’s announcement that he feels vicitimized by his former wife’s statements its pretty obvious that he has not learned from experience.
