Forecast for the week of January 24 through January 30
With three planets in the sign of the Waterbearer, and three planets in earth signs the symbol is one of “freedom versus worldly responsibilities�.
Pluto, Venus and Jupiter are in the sign of work and responsibility, Capricorn. Capricorn, ruled by the planet Saturn. These planets are driving us to work harder, longer, but not necessary for our benefit. So symbolic of the times we are in, when the best we can do economically is tread water, we hardly have enough time to take a shower, let alone find time for personal development.
Many people find the energies of Aquarius difficult to access, especially if they are caught in the mindset of living day to day, the daily grind, working to pay the mortgage. There is a price for this head in the sand type of living. Even the best swimmer tires, even the best of us can fall behind. If we fail to discover the spark of individuality within us, we can’t access the fire in our soul.
The key to tapping Aquarian energy is to access that which is unique unto yourself. We all have that part. Any placement in Aquarius, any aspect from Uranus to a planet, the house cusp on which Aquarius sits is the part that we need to nurture if we want to be who we truly are.
This week the energies of the planets prod us to pull our heads out of the sand and look around. If we are feeling bored, restless, tired or out of sorts, this is the time for you to do some self examination and find the thing you most want to do. You just might be surprised.
Aries and Aquarius–Do not pass go, do not collect two hundred dollars. Why? You have far too much work to do and have no time to play games. Unfortunately you do have to buckle down. Bummer.
Leo and Sagittarius–Its tough to get a grip when no wants to get a hold on you. As much as you like attention, acting out is not going to get you what you want. Try lending a helping hand to get some appreciation.
Gemini and Libra–This week you are faster than a speeding bullet and can leap tall buildings in a single bound, which can cause you some problems. Slow down for work zones.
Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn–You are happy and centered in your work and see no reason to rush through it, except for the people who want more from you now. Pare down your to do list for maximum effect. Hint: you don’t have to do everything.
Cancer and Pisces and Scorpio–While the world is not and your oyster right now, at least it is your anchor, even if you are getting a larger dose of criticism than you would like. Take comfort in homey things.
