Astrology for the Week of July 31 to August 6

The action of winged messenger of the gods, Mercury, is in sharp focus this week as aspects to three heavy hitting planets ping it. Mercury is in stress aspect to the shocking planet Uranus. At the same time it opposes to Jupiter and Neptune in Aquarius. All this energy from heavy hitting planets enveloped in Uranian energy is sure to lend a unpredictable and even shocking element to our communications with others.

Venus slips into the zodiac sign of Cancer on August 1, challenging Uranus and opposing Pluto. Money matters come to the fore as sudden expenses highlights the need to conserve the resources you have.

Aries—Young people tell you one thing and do another. Is this surprising? Think back to your younger days when you conspired with your compatriots to get over on your parents. Now you know what to watch for.

Taurus—You mustn’t let what other people say upset you. They are off base, and deep inside you know it.

Gemini—You are all set to engage in some summer fun, when your bosses deflate your happiness balloon. Fortunately, you can work quickly, finish up and slip out the day before he or she notices.

Cancer—The situation in your home challenge your finances. Fundamental changes are needed to deal with your current circumstances. Consult a financial expert.

Leo—Normally you know what to say to get the best response. This week this sense is off kilter and things fly out that come out all wrong. Seriously, refrain from making jokes or the joke will be on you.

Virgo—Get expert advice before you make a move. Your thinking is apt to be fuzzy at this time. If it looks too good to be true it is.

Libra—You innate sense of diplomacy will help you smooth over sudden situations that threaten to erupt into major disruptions. Go Libra!

Scorpio—While other parts of your life may be a concern, money is not on the top of the worry list. Good for you Scorpio! For the next few weeks, you can have opportunities to increase your nest egg, or you can spend money on your home in a way that will yield maximum benefits.

Sagittarius—The weekend finds you at odds with others without even trying. Your “good times” attitude annoy other people who are focused on more serious issues. If you want things to go smoothly try to show sympathy for the trials of others.

Capricorn—Money matters can cause conflicts with other people in your life, especially your spouse. The bills must be paid, but other things are important too. Loosen the purse strings to allow a little fun.

Aquarius—The week the finger of God literally points at you. The way you communicate has caught the attention of others and you’ll be called upon to use that skill to deliver an important message. This is going to be bigger than you think.

Pisces—If you are looking to increase your income you are going to have to do some self-promotion. Nobody can do spin like you Pisces, so put it out there so the Universe can send it back.
