Weekly Forecast: Under the Influence

Nothing that is not a real crime makes a man appear so contemptible and little in the eyes of the world as inconstancy. - Joseph Addison

Under the influence of the Saturn/Uranus opposition we are getting a lesson in the meaning of the word “inconstancy”. In the stock markets, “inconstancy” translates into “volatility”. In our personal lives we find that either ourselves or our partners want to rebel against restrictions while imposing them on others. It is a strange time, when the illusions of the world are ripped from us by our own bumblings through it. We can blame the planet of the unpredictable, Uranus, for that, as it keeps pitting itself against a very rational and sane Saturn in Virgo. Saturn wants order, cleanliness and hygiene. Uranus in Pisces wants us to “go through the looking glass” and observe the wonders of dimensions we do not understand.

How does this translate into real world experience? For most of our development as a species, and as a consequence of our primate sense of hierarchy, we have allowed the development of an over class to unabashedly use everyone else in society to build their wealth and security. The trade off was suppose to be that this over class, our leaders, would be responsible for making decisions that benefited the whole group. Kings, (and later Presidents and Prime Ministers) were to secure the protection of nations. Financial leaders were to secure the prosperity of the collective. Leaders of industry were to provide goods and services. We accepted that in an imperfect world, some would suffer. Some people would not realize all the benefits of an organized society, others would benefit inordinately. It was the way the world worked. Now, with the undeniable sense that how we ran the world no longer works, with the middle class rapidly joining ranks with the lower class, we should realize that the Age of Pisces is at an end. The suffering of some for the good of the collective no longer works as a paradigm. We no longer can afford to keep sucking off the resources of one end of the social strata for the enrichment of another.

As we thrash though these issues the world will seem a very unreal place indeed as Uranus in Pisces and Saturn in Virgo tell us.

Aries–You can talk all you want this week, but no one is really listening. Of course, this frustrates you to no end, since you are used to getting what you want, you charmer you. It doesn’t help that you aren’t getting is that what is required is real work on your part. Get it?

Taurus–You are happy in your own world secure in the nice energetic connections to Jupiter and Saturn provide. Your life is so like cotton candy this week, you might ignore the sticky complications of a rival who works behind the scenes to get what you got. Pay attention!

Gemini–The world is not as straight forward as you think. People actually do things to hurt other people. Maybe they don’t intend to, or maybe they do, but it is up to you to protect yourself in the clinches. Read between the lines.

Cancer–Maybe you are thinking too far ahead. Getting stressed about the upcoming holidays will do you no good. If you must, start your fall clean-up now, and get the house in order. Nothing makes you feel better than shiny floors and clean closets.

Leo–Oops, you did it again. Whatever that annoys or shocks or upsets other people, you did it, and out of sheer habit. Understand that when you fail to take other people’s expectations into account, it will have unpleasant consequences. There is so much even royalty can get away with.

Virgo–Your song is “For everything, clean, clean, clean, And for every job, there is product to clean with.’ You are so industrious in fact, you make the rest of us sick, with all that sweeping and spraying of household chemicals. Take a rest already.

Libra–You don’t know how you’ve offended so many people, but it is always a shock when to you when you do. Its really their problem not yours and when you see that you’ll feel much better.

Scorpio–You are a whirling dynamo of activity, courtesy of the entrance of Mars in your sign. You haven’t felt this sexy in a long time and you might even do something about it. Please take it easy on the rest of us mere mortals. You know that we can’t resist you.

Sagittarius–For you finding truth is usually a grand adventure. Now, facing the obvious, you find that you need to step off and take a leap of faith, which is another venture altogether. If the move you make is to enhance your future security, then go with your gut. Otherwise, stop, look and listen. Your friends have unusually good advice.

Capricorn–Go long, Capricorn, because short term, there are bumps in the road with your relationships with others. Exercise that legendary Capricorn patience. Buy real estate for long term financial growth.

Aquarius–As always you are looking for something new to excite your personal growth process, whether it be in career or relationships. That you haven’t a clue as to what to actually do hasn’t stopped you before. You might finds some clues in some good advice that friends give you.

Pisces–Get your head out of the clouds! At least that is what people are telling you to do. You can’t even express the wonderful new ideas that are coloring your perceptions since it is difficult to translate them into human language. It wouldn’t hurt though if you did some of those dishes, or the laundry. We all have to sing for our supper.
