The first star we see in the morning and the first star we see at night is our constant companion Venus. Shining brightly in our skies, Venus conjures images of beauty, and romance.

One of the personal planets, Venus in our natal charts indicates the qualities valued in a mate or partner. Woe to the partner who doesn’t espouse their lofty ideals, because he or she will always be found wanting in their eyes, despite their partner’s other sterling qualities.

Venus in Aries–Likes their partners to be athletic, energetic and courageous. No matter that they cower in a scary movie, you better not. they like it best if they can chase the object of their affections over and over again. After all, they live for the thrill of the hunt.

Venus in Taurus loves someone who reliable and responsible. If you are there for them, they will be there for you always. It doesn’t hurt if you are a good cook and dress well. Quality counts.

Venus in Gemini natives are fascinated with people who are as smart as they think they are. As long as you talk a good game, you’re in with them. It helps if you can speak in funny foreign accents and have a penchant for wigs. Variety is the spice of life.

Venus in Cancer will love you if remind them of their mom. If you fuss over every sniffle, so much the better. They love romance, so you’d better be good at it.

Venus in Leo loves people who make them look good. Excude class and good taste. They won’t be able to resist. It helps if you tell them over and over how wonderful they are. They know it, they just want to hear it.
.
Venus in Virgo likes people who are tidy, and clean and who take regular showers. They get shivers up and down their spine if they see a water pik in your bathroom. Just how did they get into your bathroom? Didn’t you notice how clever they were in seducing you? They are the ones who invented “home cooking.

Venus in Libra–packaging is everything, and if you look classy and refined, you’re in. It helps if you write love poetry and bring them flowers.or a good wine. Be prepared, though, because they expect this stuff all the time, even after twenty five years of marriage.
.
Venus in Scorpio loves you one of two ways, sinner or saint. They’ll go gaga if you can pull off both at the same time. Unfortunately, many Venus in Scorpio people often carry torches not just for one that got away, but the one who broke their heart doing it.

Venus in Sagittarius loves you. They also love Jane down the road, and Helen up the street. They have high ideals of what makes a perfect mate, and unfortunately, extremely few people actually make the cut. They don’t see any reason to deny themselves though “until the right one comes along.

Venus in Capricorn wants you to be useful. They are fascinated with people who have the “do yourself gene. They don’t mind your blue collar job, just as long as you save them a few bucks on the home repairs. Be prepared to eat in often. Restaurant dinners are for clients, don’t you know.

Venus in Aquarius people don’t mind if you’re a bit weird. In fact it is one reason they like you. It helps if you know how to program the VCR and write web pages in HTML. If you’re willing to chain yourself to the fence of nuclear power plant to protest its existance even better. Then they just might chain themselves to you.
.
Venus in Pisces live for mystical experiences. If you can produce one, albeit in a sane and healty manner, they’ll love you for it. They honestly don’t care if you look like a toad if you stir their romantic feelings. They are ones who invented the fairy tale of the toad who became a prince with a kiss.
